Investment Relations Manager

Brookfield Asset Management is seeking a highly skilled Manager, Investor Relations to join our private equity group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing strategic initiatives to engage with existing and prospective investors.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage investor inquiries and provide timely responses to financial information, portfolio company updates, and ad-hoc requests.
- Coordinate and prepare key deliverables for senior management, including investor communications, quarterly fund webcasts, and investment updates.
- Develop and articulate Brookfield's private equity strategy to stakeholders, highlighting new transaction activity and ongoing portfolio updates.
- Engage in the formulation of key messaging to the market and effectively communicate this messaging to stakeholders.
- Plan and coordinate investor meetings, including Brookfield's annual private funds investor conference, and related materials.
- Participate in fundraising activities for the private equity group and take the lead on written responses to topical items relevant to the business.
- Execute strategic initiatives within the group and actively coordinate co-investment processes.
- Collaborate with peers in other Brookfield platforms to identify best practices and ensure quality and consistency of IR materials.
- Undergraduate degree in business, accounting, or finance.
- CPA and/or CFA designation preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, accounting, equity research, corporate development, investor relations, transaction services, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- A solid understanding of financial reporting and valuation models, with knowledge of private equity investment structures preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce and FISDX (Sungard) is a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact with various levels of the organization.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize competing tasks and demands under tight deadlines.
- Analytic and strategic thinker with the ability to assess complex situations and make effective recommendations.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work in an unstructured environment.
