About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Representative to join our Lower Sackville clinic. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class service to our patients. You will be the first point of contact with the public, and your exceptional customer service skills will make a significant impact on our patients' health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administering pre-testing services
  • Taking Visual Acuities and patients' Medical History for the Optometrist
  • Preparing the exam room
  • Communicating with patients in person and via phone
  • Billing patients, their medical service providers, and other third parties
  • Managing appointment bookings, prescription printouts, and billing and payments
  • Providing exceptional customer service using your charisma and problem-solving skills

Requirements:

  • Customer-facing experience, preferably in a retail environment
  • Experience in administration is an asset
  • A high level of comfort using technology and computers
  • A professional, approachable manner and a love of meeting and interacting with people
