Position Overview: Reporting directly to the Communications Manager, the Social Media and Content Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing AGF's employee attraction and retention efforts across Canada through effective social media strategies. This position is also essential in amplifying AGF's brand visibility among clients and potential customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate closely with the Head of Communications to ensure that social media initiatives align with the company's overarching strategic goals.
  • Content Calendar Oversight: Create and manage a comprehensive content calendar to guarantee a consistent stream of engaging posts across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Content Development: Produce high-quality visual and written materials, encompassing photography and video production and editing. Work in tandem with marketing advisors, sales teams, and talent acquisition personnel to elevate AGF's branding and showcase its projects and workforce.
  • Community Engagement: Oversee community interactions by responding to comments and messages across our social media channels.
  • Performance Analysis: Stay abreast of the latest trends in social media within the construction industry and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to refine content strategies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in both French and English, with exceptional writing capabilities.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years in employer branding, HR marketing, and managing monetized campaigns on social media platforms and Google Ads.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in video editing software (such as Capcut, Adobe Premiere, or similar), Canva, Google Analytics, and understanding key social media metrics.
  • Mobility Requirements: Willingness to travel to job sites as needed and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong judgment, meticulous attention to detail, adaptability, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage effectively both online and in person.
