As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing Finance, IT, Office Administration, and system assurance for complex construction and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide strategic leadership and planning with the Senior Management Team to drive business growth and success.
  2. Oversee IT infrastructure, external financial reporting, and technical accounting under ASPE, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Ensure effective compliance, control, governance, and risk management across all business functions.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial leadership and coaching, driving business outcomes and growth.
  5. Manage change and innovation, developing and implementing Corporate Risk Register and ISO Governance Standards.
  6. Establish and operate the Internal Audit function, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and compliance.
  7. Review proposals and contracts to maintain organizational interests and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  8. Act as Compliance Officer for Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, and Modern Slavery Standards, ensuring a culture of compliance and ethics.
  9. Perform special projects as requested by the President or Board of Directors, driving business growth and success.

Requirements:

  1. 15+ years' progressive experience in Finance, IT, and support teams, with a strong background in the construction industry.
  2. CPA (Ontario) designation, with expert knowledge of ASPE and financial controls.
  3. Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, with a proven track record of driving business growth.
  4. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  5. Experience with Trimble Vista finance software and the construction industry is an asset.
