Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Technologist to join our team at KMH Cardiology Centres Inc. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic electrocardiographic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic electrocardiographic procedures independently to assist physicians with diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Conduct stress testing of nuclear cardiology patients under the supervision of a physician.
  • Provide tracings of patients' ECG, blood pressure, and heart rate before and during stress tests.
  • Conduct tests in accordance with CSCT and KMH's protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Instruct or aid patients on stress testing and other equipment.
  • Apply independent judgment and critical thinking during examinations to ensure all appropriate data is captured.
  • Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition and ensure examination rooms are properly supplied, equipped, and operational.
  • Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and in good working order and assist in maintaining a current inventory of routine supplies.
  • Maintain continuous professional development in ECG through self-study, including attending courses or seminars.
Requirements
  • 1 year of work experience is an asset.
  • Experience in Holter monitor hook-ups, AMBPs, Loops is an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Office (MS Word and Outlook).
  • ACLS is an asset.
  • Demonstrated high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered care.
