Job Title: Welder Fitter

China Steel Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder Fitter to join our team. As a Welder Fitter, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
Requirements:
  • Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in general manufacturing and custom fabrication.
  • Knowledge of gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and other welding techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
