Job Title: Daycare WorkerWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Daycare Worker to join our team. As a Daycare Worker, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing child-care programs that promote the well-being and development of children.
Key Responsibilities:- Program Development: Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
- Storytelling and Creative Activities: Engage children in storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts to encourage creativity and self-expression.
- Record Keeping: Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping accurate records of children's progress and development.
- Health and Safety: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children.
- Team Collaboration: Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants to ensure a smooth and efficient childcare service.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in early childhood education or a related field.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a passion for working with children.
