About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as a Secondary School Teacher's Assistant at Ecole Internationale Acadecap International School. This is a permanent position that requires a strong commitment to supporting the academic success of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Student Support: Accompany students during school and extracurricular activities, providing individualized support and reinforcement of learning concepts under the supervision of the classroom teacher.
  • Classroom Assistance: Help students with assignments, monitor student progress, and report to the classroom teacher as needed.
  • Supervision: Supervise students during school and extracurricular activities, including recess and lunch hour.
  • Integration Support: Assist students with integration into the classroom and school setting, promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with the classroom teacher, parents, and other school staff to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: Experience as a teaching assistant or in a related field is an asset.
  • Skills: Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, interpersonal awareness, organized, reliability, and team player.
  • Certifications: Emergency child care first aid and CPR, First Aid Certificate, and a criminal record check.
