Department Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Department Associate. In this role, you will provide exceptional retail services to our unique client base - members of the Canadian Armed Forces and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the set-up and maintenance of various departments, ensuring shelves are stocked, faced, and properly signed.
- Provide technical and professional guidance on sales and products, as well as deal with customer concerns or complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist with ordering products and pricing new inventory.
- Operate Point of Sales systems, the debit/credit machine, and maintain a float.
- Take and prepare food and beverage orders, and prepare takeout food while ensuring cleanliness of food service and eating areas.
- An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience in retail and convenience operations, cash handling, sales and merchandising, food and beverage preparation, and food and beverage service.
- Food Handling Certification, as required.
- Competencies in client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership.
French is essential for this role.
