The Automotive Advertising Specialist collaborates closely with the Retail Marketing Manager to oversee all initiatives related to National/Dealer Association (DAA) advertising and marketing communications. This role involves leading and managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring seamless coordination among agencies, vendors, the dealer network, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Engage with creative and media agency partners, along with other vendors, to guarantee that all national advertising DAA projects are executed within deadlines and budget constraints.
  2. Review and verify all retail advertising materials for accuracy and quality.
  3. Work in partnership with internal stakeholders and Regional Managers to craft strategic and competitive retail advertising offers for National and Dealer Marketing resources.
  4. Draft and refine internal bulletins and communications directed at dealers.
  5. Ensure that platforms such as Canto and Dealer Extranet are consistently updated and maintained.
  6. Oversee and uphold the Kia Co-op Advertising Policy, collaborating with vendors to ensure adherence to program guidelines.
  7. Coordinate the preparation of various marketing presentations.
  8. Manage budget tracking, control, and reconciliation for diverse marketing initiatives within the Retail Department.
  9. Develop presentations and facilitate bi-monthly calls with Regional Managers, as well as monthly discussions with Dealer Advertising Groups.
  10. Conduct post-execution audits and generate reports.
  11. Maintain weekly and monthly reports prioritizing retail activities.
  12. Provide recommendations regarding current and future policies and procedures.
  13. Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  1. A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in Automotive (OEM) Marketing and/or Sales is required.
  2. A university degree in Marketing or a related field is advantageous.
  3. This position demands a meticulous attention to detail and a process-oriented approach.
  4. Demonstrated experience collaborating with agencies and marketing firms is essential.
  5. Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure to meet tight deadlines are crucial.
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity are necessary.
  7. Experience in budget management is highly desirable.
  8. Ability to think strategically and propose solutions to emerging challenges is important.
  9. Knowledge of general accounting principles and advertising regulations/legal aspects is beneficial.
