Responsibilities:- Provide patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
- Conduct vital signs and monitor patient condition.
- Assist with patient transfers and mobility.
- Participate in patient education and support.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work.
- Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination.
- CPR Certificate.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Criminal record check.
The Licensed Practical Nurse will work in a school or educational institution setting, providing care to students and staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
