Nursing Care Coordinator

At CareOnDemand, we are seeking a skilled Nursing Care Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transition of patients through our healthcare system.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate the movement of patients through the healthcare system, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal care.
- Employ creative problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for process improvement in bed assignment, transfer, patient flow, and resource utilization.
- Ensure that quality nursing care is provided to patients, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring timely restocking and minimal disruptions.
- Assist in the establishment of unit policies and procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
- Supervise registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and other nursing personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing coordination or management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
