We are seeking a highly skilled Datacenter Technician to join our team at Microsoft Canada. As a key member of our Cloud Operations & Innovation group, you will play a critical role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for our online services.

As a Datacenter Technician, you will be responsible for developing an understanding of standard processes and procedures for preparing, installing, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, replacing, and/or decommissioning equipment under the guidance of more experienced Data Center colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our Data Center environment, including security and data management procedures.
  • Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and replacement of equipment as needed.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to support services for over 1 billion customers and 20 million businesses worldwide.
  • Contribute to the growth and evolution of our data center design and operations, with a focus on environmental sustainability and optimization.
