About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Leader to join our team at Scotiabank. As Director and Head, Global Business Initiatives, GTB, you will be responsible for leading a portfolio of projects and teams to drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall leadership in the execution of a portfolio of projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective management of resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies, driving revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of business cases, ensuring a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Lead and manage high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in management consulting and/or a comparable enterprise strategy role.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business growth.
  • Strong business analysis skills and data-focused approach to business case development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid, standard office-based environment, with limited travel domestically and internationally.
