About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility and Anti-Racism to join our team at EQ Bank | Equitable Bank. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in creating a more inclusive and equitable work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Inclusion Strategies: Collaborate with the Associate Director of IDEA2 to develop and execute the Bank's inclusion strategies, aligning with EQB's goals, priorities, and strategic plans.
  • Support Employee Resource Groups: Drive the development of Equitable Bank's internal Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), supporting their goals and three-year plans.
  • Accessibility and Mental Health Initiatives: Drive and support the company's Accessibility work, co-create and execute Mental Health initiatives, and facilitate internal equity and inclusion-specific educational courses.
  • Equity-Focused Learning and Development: Support the JEDI program, Equitable's equity-focused Learning and Development program, and facilitate internal training modules on inclusion.
  • Legislative Compliance: Lead the writing of the multi-year Employment Equity Plan, the annual Employment Equity Report, and any Equity-specific audit work, as well as similar Accessible Canada Act work.
Requirements
  • Experience in Diversity and Employment Equity: Minimum 3-5 years of full-time experience in diversity and/or employment equity work, ideally with experience reporting annually to the government.
  • Professional Qualifications: Professional-level oral and written communication skills, professional-level group facilitation skills, and excellent interpersonal and leadership qualities.
  • Education and Experience: Demonstrated experience and education in mental health, accessibility, Reconciliation, and/or anti-racism work, as well as experience developing policies, strategies, and action plans related to inclusion.
  • Results-Oriented and Self-Motivated: Results-oriented, self-starter, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
