About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility and Anti-Racism to join our team at Equitable Bank. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and executing our inclusion strategies, ensuring that our workplace is inclusive, equitable, and accessible for all employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement inclusion strategies that align with our organization's goals and priorities
  • Collaborate with the Associate Director of IDEA2 to drive the achievement of our inclusion goals
  • Support the development of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and drive their success
  • Lead the company's Accessibility work and Mental Health initiatives
  • Work with the IDEA2 Associate Director to use data from self-identification surveys and Employment Equity surveys to inform our inclusion strategies
  • Support the JEDI program and facilitate internal equity and inclusion-specific educational courses
  • Lead the writing of our multi-year Employment Equity Plan and annual Employment Equity Report
  • Stay up-to-date on legislative changes and developments in inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in diversity and/or employment equity work
  • Professional-level oral and written communication skills
  • Group facilitation skills and excellent interpersonal and leadership qualities
  • Demonstrated experience and education in mental health, accessibility, Reconciliation, and anti-racism work
  • Experience developing policies, strategies, and action plans related to inclusion
  • Results-oriented, self-starter, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent record keeping and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all employee, pay, and benefit information
