About the Role

As a Registered Nurse with BC Cancer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in a virtual setting. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic nursing care to oncology patients through virtual consultations and support
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on cancer treatment and management
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives
  • One year of recent experience in oncology nursing or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies
