Position Overview:
This Senior Manager role focuses on overseeing the procurement and sourcing activities related to the Cloud Acceleration Program (CAP), a key strategic initiative at Scotiabank.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with enterprise and technology Procurement partners to facilitate program objectives.
- Engage with senior leadership and vendors to enhance quality, cost efficiency, and service levels.
- Analyze existing contracts within the CAP scope to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Strategic Management:
- Support the program's platform and application roadmap by addressing licensing and contractual constraints.
- Manage vendor agreements, including drafting, reviewing, and documenting various contracts and licensing agreements.

Performance Tracking:
- Monitor and report on sourcing initiatives to ensure alignment with program timelines.
- Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers in collaboration with Procurement.

Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with Business Line and contract owners to understand business needs and develop a comprehensive supplier contract strategy.
- Ensure consistent application of procurement processes across all groups.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in management, business, or a related field; a master's degree is an asset.
- 5-10 years of progressive experience in sourcing and procurement.
- Strong communication skills to bridge gaps between Sourcing, IT, and business stakeholders.

Skills:
- Excellent leadership, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in managing stakeholder relationships and engaging with senior leaders.
- Ability to analyze complex technical and financial issues to inform strategic planning.
