Job Title: Senior Manager, Procurement

MLSE is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Procurement to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for driving strategic sourcing activities across various departments, with a focus on supporting business growth and improving overall value offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage strategic sourcing activities for primary departments, including marketing, communications, global partnerships, retail, game operations, event experience, ticketing, and MLSE foundation.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to understand their evolving business requirements and develop sourcing strategies to address current and future needs.
  • Research, prepare, and issue RFPs, including baseline spend analytics, negotiations, and evaluation of responses.
  • Draft, negotiate, and execute contractual agreements with suppliers, in collaboration with the legal department and internal customers.
  • Establish and manage service level agreements within supplier contracts and track associated supplier KPIs/obligations.
  • Lead supplier relationship management review sessions to enhance operational performance and outcomes.
  • Improve efficiency in daily supply/service procurement activity within Oracle ERP and ensure accuracy of contractual parameters for each supplier.
  • Drive the improvement of MLSE's procurement technology tools to optimize procurement goals and functions.
  • Advance supplier engagement towards improved diversity and sustainability.
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual planning process.
Qualifications:
  • Related work experience in procurement, product development, negotiations, and/or sports/entertainment.
  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Commerce.
  • Previous education/courses related to negotiations, marketing, or accounting (CPA) an asset.
  • Applied knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP or similar ERP systems.
  • Expert understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong team orientation with the ability to collaborate with internal and external customers.
  • Strong business insights, including procurement, negotiations, financial analytics, supply chain/logistics, and specific categories of business-supported.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, while working under tight deadlines and/or handling multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication skills (written/verbal).
  • Preference for a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Available to work evenings/weekends if and when required.
