Senior Manager, Procurement Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Procurement to join our team at MLSE. As a key member of our Procurement department, you will be responsible for driving strategic sourcing initiatives across various categories, with a focus on supporting our diverse business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage strategic sourcing activities for primary departments, including Marketing, Communications, Global Partnerships, Retail, Game Operations, Event Experience, Ticketing, and MLSE Foundation.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to understand their evolving business requirements and develop sourcing strategies to address current and future needs.
  • Develop and manage RFPs, including baseline spend analytics, negotiations, and evaluation of responses.
  • Draft, negotiate, and execute contractual agreements with suppliers, in collaboration with the legal department and internal customers.
  • Establish and manage service level agreements within supplier contracts and track associated supplier KPIs/obligations.
  • Lead supplier relationship management review sessions to enhance operational performance and outcomes.
  • Optimize procurement processes and technology tools to support the achievement of procurement goals and functions.
  • Advance supplier engagement towards improved diversity and sustainability.
Qualifications
  • Related work experience in procurement, product development, negotiations, or sports/entertainment.
  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Commerce.
  • Previous education/courses related to negotiations, marketing, or accounting (CPA) an asset.
  • Applied knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP or similar ERP systems.
  • Expert understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong team orientation, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Strong business insights, including procurement, negotiations, financial analytics, supply chain/logistics, and specific categories of business.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and project management experience.
