The Role Overview:

As the Sales Planning and Analytics Manager based in Toronto, you will be an integral member of the Planning, Analytics, and Field Sales Management team, reporting directly to the Manager, Commercial Planning & Execution. In this position, you will take the lead on sales planning for your designated region. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in analytics by interpreting and transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will also ensure that reporting meets the needs of end users while representing their interests during the development of new reporting tools in collaboration with IT experts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the annual planning kick-off meeting for your region.
  • Standardize planning materials across brand teams while accommodating account team requirements.
  • Coordinate planning volume reviews during the final stages of planning.
  • Collaborate with account teams and management to identify key success metrics and track performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in our annual planning processes.
  • Extract and interpret data to provide meaningful insights in response to strategic business discussions.
  • Identify and monitor emerging trends across segments, channels, and brands within your region.
  • Present insights and recommendations during team discussions.
  • Ensure effective business reporting is established and advocate for end-user needs regarding report adjustments or new developments.

  • You possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the CPG industry, including roles in key account management, sales finance, or business planning within a CPG context.
