Your Opportunity
BDO Law's Immigration Practice is seeking a highly skilled US Business Immigration Attorney to provide expert immigration legal advice and representation in a dynamic and growing practice. As a key member of our team, you will work on a wide range of non-immigrant and immigrant immigration matters, with a focus on economic/business class applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in complex NIV and IV immigration matters
- Develop and implement strategies to manage client's business needs and mitigate risks
- Advise clients and employees on changes in immigration laws, regulations, and impacts
- Analyze legal issues to develop and implement legal and application strategy
- Research statutes and case law
- Prepare clients for immigration interviews and/or port of entry applications
- Prepare, supervise, and monitor progress of immigration, visa, and citizenship applications as well as drafting key documents
- Assist clients in preparing and obtaining documentation or information required for applications
- Supervise, train, and mentor paralegals and caseworkers

Your Experience and Education
- You have 3+ years of relevant immigration practice experience
- You are a member in good standing of a US Bar (dual license with US and Canada an asset)
- You have strong research and writing skills and are adept at preparing written correspondence
- You are able to work independently and are passionate about client service
- You are detail-oriented and well-organized
- You have a strong work ethic fueled by a desire to excel and achieve
- You are proactive, able to multitask, and effectively handle competing priorities
- You are able to excel in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- You have excellent motivation to embrace technology trends and IT solutions designed to enhance the client experience
- You have an enthusiasm to manage workflow and processes
- You are a team player, people person, and value kindness
Salary Range
The salary range for this role is $104,000 to $156,000.
