  • Managing a portfolio of high-value and complex relationships to achieve retention and negotiated goals while meeting Scotiabank's Service Standard
  • Developing relationships with local business leaders and influencers to create a strong presence in the community
  • Engaging with new and existing clients to build strong, ongoing relationships and provide comprehensive advice to help them succeed
  • Partnering with fellow advisors to create a customer-centric environment

What You'll Bring

  • A results-oriented attitude and sound knowledge of the small business market, including financial statements, risk management policies, and legal documentation
  • Excellent business development techniques and knowledge of small business legal structures, life cycles, competitor offerings, and alternative sources of financing
  • Good organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to a changing environment
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with a passion for meeting people and collaborating with others
  • An education in a business-related discipline or equivalent work experience as a small business owner
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
