Job Title: Location Safety Manager II

At First Student Canada-Transco, we are committed to providing safe and reliable transportation services to our customers. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Location Safety Manager II to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Location Safety Manager II is responsible for providing operational oversight, guidance, and leadership to ensure the safety and compliance of our transportation operations. This includes administering driver hiring and compliance processes, investigating accidents and incidents, and providing training and guidance to drivers and attendants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer driver hiring and compliance processes to ensure adherence to federal and state regulations.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine fault and probability, and prepare and submit compliance forms as required.
  • Provide training and guidance to drivers and attendants on passenger management and safety-related issues.
  • Perform driver road checks to evaluate driver performance and provide feedback.
  • Supervise employees with safety and/or driver hiring or training responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in transportation or safety-related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations regarding safety and environmental issues.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality.
