Job Title: Field Quality Supervisor

At Matrix NAC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Quality Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our metal fabrication facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers involved in metal fabrication, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Establish and implement methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Requisition materials and supplies, and ensure that all necessary equipment is available and functioning properly.
  • Resolve work problems and recommend work measures to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Train or arrange for training of workers, and recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, and that a safe working environment is maintained.
  • Prepare production and other reports, and provide regular updates to management.
  • Set up machines and equipment, and write programs for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of related experience in QA/QC management, preferably in a metal fabrication environment.
  • Bachelor's or technical degree in a related field, such as engineering or manufacturing.
  • Current certification in a related discipline-specific inspection process, such as AWS CWI or ASNT Level II.
  • Thorough working knowledge of regulatory agency quality assurance and quality control activities.
  • Proven ability to supervise personnel and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
