Job Title: Regional Operations Manager, BC Region

We are seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee and coach our growing team of Veterinarians and clinical staff in the BC Region. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day operations, managing budgets, facilities, and inventory, and developing strategic business plans to shape our future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage deployment of people and resources, including budgets, facilities, and inventory
  • Develop strategic business planning to help shape our future
  • Lead change initiatives and develop and implement clinic performance improvement plans
  • Lead training and professional development and recruitment for veterinary teams and staff
  • Develop, maintain, and promote adherence to hospital policies and protocols
  • Track, monitor, and evaluate overall key hospital performance metrics
  • Manage scheduling of doctors and staff
  • Manage inventory to ensure appropriate stocking and pricing
Requirements:
  • University degree in a relevant field (management, medicine, science, etc.)
  • Previous experience in a managerial role with a team of at least 10 to 20 people
  • Previous experience in veterinary medicine or a healthcare field (dental, human medicine) is an asset
  • Previous experience managing multiple locations within the service industry
  • Willingness to regularly commute to different locations
  • Veterinarians seeking to transition from medicine to management are strongly encouraged to apply
