Accounting Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team at AWIN Group of Dealerships. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for performing various accounting-related tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post bank deposits
  • Reconcile cash and credit card clearing accounts
  • Manage accounts receivables and make calls for outstanding payments
  • Distribute invoices to department managers for authorization
  • Post invoices through CDK Accounting System
  • Perform various reconciliations, including manufacturer's statements and floor plan
  • Maintain regular supplier files and assign new vendor accounts

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of related industry experience
  • Background in the automotive or related industry is an asset
  • College Diploma or University Degree
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with CDK and ability to operate PC-based software
