About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Front Line Work Force Inc. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits and supporting clients' dietary needs.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, such as healthcare or social services.
  • Certifications: Community disability studies Certificate, CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment

As a Personal Support Worker with Front Line Work Force Inc, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing care and support to clients in their own homes or in our facilities. You will be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional bending and lifting.
