Sales Associate for Branch Operations

Position Overview:

The Sales Associate will be tasked with managing incoming inquiries, processing orders, and promoting our product offerings to enhance sales and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exemplary customer service to all clients.
  • Handle order processing and quotations through various methods while assisting the internal sales team with quote requests.
  • Professionally manage all incoming phone communications.
  • Collaborate with purchasing groups and suppliers to source parts and equipment.
  • Assess client requirements and recommend suitable products or services to ensure satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication.
  • Adhere to company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Address customer inquiries and provide timely solutions to issues.
  • Conduct physical inventory checks and maintain inventory accuracy and organization.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor, including on-call responsibilities.
  • Ability to lift or move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
  • Forklift training will be required if not already obtained.
  • Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation after a designated period.

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and customer service expertise.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Sales acumen and persuasive abilities.
  • Capability to work independently under pressure.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Prior experience in HVAC-R, retail sales, or a related technical field is advantageous.
  • Completion of a professional degree in refrigeration or heating is a plus.
  • Safety footwear is mandatory.
