Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Canadian Tax & Financial Services Inc. as a key member of our accounting department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Accounting and Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, manage benefits administration, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders, highlighting key financial trends and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
