About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Service Field Representative to join our team at Canada Building Materials. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, while promoting our brand and values to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control: Monitor project and pour schedules, visit job sites to perform quality control testing, and record test data.
  • Product Promotion: Attend pre-pour meetings and calls with customers to promote value-added products and collect market and job information.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend modifications to existing quality or production standards and procedures, and educate operating personnel on quality control procedures.
  • Customer Support: Advise management on issues arising from product problems, participate in investigation of complaints, and work with sales to resolve customer complaints.
  • Quality System Management: Conduct quality audits and make ongoing improvements to the Quality System, including BNQ.
Requirements
  • Education: Two years civil, construction, or geotechnical technician program, or five years relevant construction field experience.
  • Skills: People management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, fundamental knowledge of computer software (Windows, Word, Excel), and ability to effectively present information to customers and employees.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50lbs and work outdoors in inclement weather.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license in good standing.
