Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient experiences, conducting hearing evaluations, and fitting hearing aids to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding patient care and customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every individual who walks through our doors.
  • Conduct thorough hearing evaluations, including tests and examinations, to determine the best hearing aid solution for each patient.
  • Fitting hearing aids, including Workers Compensation applications, D.V.A. Reports, and Medical Reports, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients on their hearing loss and the technology available to help them regain their sense of sound.
  • Develop and implement effective follow-up care plans to ensure patients receive ongoing support and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for lead generation and business growth through community outreach and networking.
  • Ensure repeat and referral business by consistently delivering exceptional patient experiences and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Adhere to all Beltone policies, procedures, and pricing programs to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience and a strong background in selling hearing aids.
  • Superior commitment to excellence in patient care and customer service.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound decision-making and judgment skills.
  • Commitment to integrity, honesty, and respect for both patients and internal staff.
  • Registered Hearing Instrument Specialist (or ability to become registered) in the Province of British Columbia.
