Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient experiences, conducting hearing evaluations, and fitting hearing aids to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations, including testing and examinations, to determine the best hearing aid solution for each patient.
- Fit hearing aids, ensuring a precise and comfortable fit for each patient.
- Provide education and counseling to patients on their hearing loss and the technology available to help them regain their hearing.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest hearing aid technology and industry developments to provide the best possible care for our patients.
Requirements
- Registration as a Hearing Instrument Specialist in the Province of British Columbia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and patient satisfaction.
