About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Professional to join our team at Met Blinds. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and reliability
