Human Resources Officer

NAPA Auto Parts Fort McMurray is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new employees, and providing exceptional support to our management team.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Hiring: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
- Employee Onboarding: Coordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates, notify applicants of results of selection process, and prepare job offers.
- HR Administration: Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, and determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
- Payroll and Benefits: Prepare budgets and payrolls, arrange schedules, and oversee payroll administration, including group insurance benefits, life insurance, and Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP).
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in human resources, recruitment, or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to multitask, and proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Familiarity with human resources software, MS Windows, and Internet.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines. The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and have excellent attention to detail.
