About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager - Operations to join our team at Subway Sandwiches and Salad. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Analyze and optimize our restaurant's budget to maximize profits, including managing costs of food, ingredients, and supplies.
  • Operations Planning: Develop and implement daily operations plans to ensure efficient service delivery, including staff scheduling and training.
  • Financial Management: Monitor revenues, manage labor costs, and balance cash and complete financial reports.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure availability of products.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety and handling procedures.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise 1-2 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Marketing and Sales: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales growth and increase customer engagement.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience in a restaurant management role is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Setting: Willingness to work in a rural area.
