Job Summary:

The Restaurant Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage staff performance, providing coaching and guidance as needed.
  • Recruit and train new staff members to ensure a high level of customer service.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that all supplies are stocked and available when needed.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible deals for our restaurant.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
  • Support newcomers and refugees, recruiting and training them to work in our restaurant.
  • Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, helping them develop their skills and confidence.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
