Restaurant Manager Job Description

At ONTARIO INC., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Lead a team of 1 to 15 people, depending on the restaurant's size and needs.
  • Operations: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures, balance cash and complete balance sheets, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, address customers' complaints or concerns, and negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant operates in a fast-paced environment, and our team members work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. We require our Restaurant Manager to be able to stand for extended periods and have excellent attention to detail.
