Location: Richmond Hill, ON, Canada

Position Type: Full-time - Contract - Day Shift

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, with occasional Saturdays and holidays.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

As a General Laborer, your duties will encompass the following:

  • Adherence to safety protocols established by Miller Waste System and familiarity with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Sorting and organizing incoming wood materials.
  • Monitoring and recording Windrow Temperatures.
  • Cleaning equipment and performing additional tasks as required.
  • Potential training on the operation of various machinery.
  • Providing backup support for processing operations and undertaking general housekeeping tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Prior experience with heavy machinery is advantageous.
  • Possession of a valid 'G' driver's license.
  • A collaborative team player with a proven record of safe work practices.
  • Availability to work during days, afternoons, weekends, and flexible shifts.
