About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tahini's Richmond Hill. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet our high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Supervise and Coordinate Staff

Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that all staff are equipped to perform their roles effectively.

Estimate and Manage Inventory

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have sufficient stock to meet demand.

Ensure Quality and Safety Standards

Ensure that all food and service meet our quality control standards, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Maintain Records and Reports

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.

Establish Work Schedules

Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
