About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our Indigenous Education team as an Indigenous Cultural Enhancement Worker. This is a temporary full-time position that will provide an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the education of Indigenous students in our district.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement culturally responsive programs and services to support Indigenous students and their families
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and community members to enhance Indigenous cultural awareness and understanding
  • Provide guidance and support to students, parents, and staff on Indigenous cultural protocols and practices
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote Indigenous cultural inclusion and equity
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of Indigenous cultures and histories
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
