We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tool Crib Attendant to join our team at Grainger. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, ensuring accurate inventory management, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the tool crib area, including restocking shelves, counting inventory, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  • Provide fast, courteous, and accurate service to internal and external customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
  • Operate a forklift and other equipment as needed to move goods and materials within the warehouse.
  • Assist with receiving and processing incoming goods, labeling products, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Support the Grainger Quality System and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • General tool knowledge is mandatory.
  • Shipping/receiving department and/or working with tools and industrial supplies preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and housekeeping skills.
  • Strong proficiency in the English language - both written and oral communication.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to work at other locations for coverage purposes as needed.
