We are seeking a compassionate, responsible, and experienced child care provider to support our family in Toronto by providing dedicated care to two children, including a newborn.

- Type of employment: Permanent, full-time
- Hours: 30 hours per week
- Wage: $36 per hour
- Room and board provided

Duties

- Provide attentive care to infants and children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Change diapers, bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
- Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and provide guidance on newborn care.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Supervise and organize activities such as games, outings, and rest periods.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
- Tend to children’s emotional well-being and discipline them according to parental guidance.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment in the home.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and household cleaning.
- Keep records of children’s daily activities and health information.
- Assume full responsibility for household in parents’ absence.

Requirements

- 5 years or more of relevant experience in care giving of newborn babies and children (required).
- CPR/First Aid certification (required).
- Criminal record check (required).
- Ability to lift and handle weight up to 23 kg.
