Job Description

Distribution Specialist III

This warehouse-based Supply Chain position specializes in the management of materials and inventory. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Supply Chain, the successful candidate will be a motivated team player who is used to fast-paced, detail-oriented work. The Distribution Specialist III will perform a variety of daily roles such as receiving, stock picking/put away, chemical sampling and dispensing, and staging for manufacturing following the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Experience with material handling equipment (MHE) and ERP systems such as Oracle EBS and SAP is an asset.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

- Perform warehouse-related floor tasks that are physical in nature.
- Inspect and receive incoming materials using the company’s ERP system.
- Maintain the integrity of the inventory location system by performing appropriate transactions in the ERP system.
- Complete documentation specific to inventory control and sampling.
- Sample, dispense, and repackage materials to support non-GMP/GMP operations.
- Maintain and clean operational areas.
- Offload chemical bulk trucks and remove waste materials from the site.

Specific Education & Experience Requirements:

- 3+ years of relevant experience, HS Diploma required.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Team player
- Able to take direction and feedback
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems for inventory tracking
- Experience with forklift and other material handling equipment
