Position Overview:

As the National Business Development Manager of Open Molecular Solutions (OMS) within the Canadian Affiliate, you will be the sole owner of the OMS commercial performance. You will lead and manage the Sales & Business Development function for the OMS portfolio, serving as the business matter expert managing customer interactions and associated strategies. This critical role in our commercial organization involves driving sales, profitability, and market share, and achieving other strategic, financial, and operational targets.

You will look for business development opportunities to enhance our position in the market by offering the OMS portfolio products and supporting newly launched products. You will maintain and support our existing base of OMS user accounts and leverage your expertise to enhance client engagement and satisfaction at the laboratory level. You will identify and develop Key Opinion Leaders for our OMS solutions. Collaborating closely with the OMS Marketing Specialist and the Molecular Lab sales team to meet market needs and deliver on business plan objectives will be essential. Additionally, you will work alongside other teams such as Medical Affairs and Access to help shape the fast-evolving market of OMS offerings. Reporting to the National Business Leader for Molecular Diagnostics, your leadership in fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with company goals will be critical.

The Opportunity

- Drive sales and profitability through effective strategies and client engagement.

- Manage and develop key client relationships.

- Ensure the OMS portfolio meets market demands and exceeds client expectations.

- Achieve strategic, financial, and operational targets. Own the financial performance.

Who you are

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a Healthcare-related field.

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the healthcare industry, focusing on Sales, Marketing, Access, or Support.

- Thorough understanding of the Molecular Diagnostics sector.

- Agile mindset and willingness to adopt new ways of working.

- In this position, you will be servicing customers across Canada, therefore a proficient level of English is required and French may be required depending on geographical location.

- Ability to reside anywhere in Canada, with an understanding of meetings focusing on Eastern Standard Time (EST).

- Willingness to travel up to 40% annually.
