Specific Duties:

Payroll

- Responsible for payroll including verifying and processing payroll for salaried employees globally, including computing deductions, calculating special adjustments, filing, reconciling and reporting according to applicable legislation.
- Manage ADP Workforce Now employee payroll onboarding, offboarding, reports, time and attendance tracking, vacation entitlements and accruals.
- Manage employee RRSP contribution and general benefit processing of other taxable benefits.
- Other responsibilities as required.

Accounts Payable (AP)

- Process vendor invoices manually and using AP software: verify approvals, code to the correct GL/accounts, and match to PO/receiving when applicable.
- Execute payment runs (ACH/EFT/wire/cheque) while maintaining documentation and internal controls.
- Process employee expense reports and support corporate card reconciliations per policy.
- Perform reconciliations against Vendor Statements.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies and avoid payment delays.

General

- Assist with general office ordering and other administrative tasks.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and automation (billing workflows, collections cadence, AP approvals, recordkeeping).

Requirements

- Relevant experience in payroll, AP, or a combined role (technology/product company a plus).
- Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals (debits/credits, subledgers, reconciliations).
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of a full-cycle payroll. Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
- Experience with an accounting/ERP system (e.g., Sage 100, Yooz, or similar).
- Basic Excel and Word skills.
- Strong communication skills and a supportive, service-minded approach with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with high accuracy, confidentiality, and follow-through.

Benefits

Base Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year plus bonus.

The compensation offered will be determined by experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
