Senior IT Compliance Analyst

Job Summary

This Senior IT Compliance Analyst role involves collaborating with stakeholders to maintain and enhance audit, regulatory, and contractual compliance activities. A key initiative will be maintaining Interac's ISO 27001 Certification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and maintaining a risk register to track and remediate gaps found during project lifecycles through internal/external audits or security reviews.
  • Creating reports to measure the effectiveness of technical controls and proposing compensating controls.
  • Enhancing and maintaining established compliance risk assessment frameworks.
  • Contributing to compliance initiatives and providing technical/business advice.
  • Aligning Information Security policies and standards with industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business or equivalent work experience.
  • Relevant certifications (ITIL V4 Foundation Cert., COBIT, CRISC, CISSP) an asset.
  • 7+ years of IT and/or non-financial risk management experience.
  • Leadership capabilities in communication, coaching, influence, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  • Knowledge of Risk/Control frameworks (ITIL, ISO, COBIT, NIST, PCI).
  • Extensive capabilities in PowerPoint, Excel, data analytics, and visual dashboarding.
