Our client, a leader in mechanical services, is seeking a Service Estimator to join their team. As a Service Estimator, you will be part of the Service Department supporting the Customer Solutions Managers and Business teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical services based on customer needs and site conditions.
- Interpret customer requirements and support site visits to verify existing conditions and gather necessary details.
- Engage with customers during estimate discussions and follow up on proposals to ensure clarity and satisfaction.
- Optimize equipment selection, installation methods, and lifecycle value to deliver cost-effective solutions.
- Coordinate with operations and service teams to validate pricing and ensure constructability.

What's Needed?

- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical service, retrofit, or estimating.

- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and estimating tools such as ServiceTitan or related software.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer engagement.

- Ability to interpret technical drawings and site conditions accurately.

- Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
