About the role
Our office managers help with administrative tasks like writing letters, keeping track of finances, organizing appointments, and overseeing filing systems. Although no two days will ever be the same, your daily tasks will consist of:
1. Manage the office's daily operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and effectively.
2. Oversee and assist a small team, offering direction and leadership to guarantee excellent performance and service standards.
3. Oversee client records and ensure compliance with legal requirements in the financial services industry.
4. Organize office tasks, such as correspondence, scheduling, and meeting administration.
5. Ensure that company policies and procedures are implemented smoothly.
6. Respond to customer inquiries, address problems, and escalate as needed to maintain high customer satisfaction.
7. Assist with the creation and administration of audits, internal reports, and other important documents.
8. Support Financial Advisers and other employees with administrative duties, ensuring that priorities and deadlines are met.
9. Promote office performance by managing resources effectively and making continuous improvements.
10. Collaborate with other teams and departments to guarantee smooth operations and enhance the client experience.
11. Maintain office supplies, tools, and services to ensure a well-stocked and organized workspace.
Your mission
As an office manager, you will be responsible for maintaining efficient office procedures suitable for a hybrid workplace. In addition to having sound financial judgment, you must possess outstanding communication skills and personal credibility. You should be proficient in using complex databases and Microsoft Office, and be able to meet deadlines. A measurable dedication to the principles of the trade union movement is preferred but not necessary.
