As a Territory Associate, you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding pre-determined service expectations while selling product, merchandising and fulfilling route management objectives in order to drive volume and increase visibility of products in accounts.
Territory: Edmonton North East
Must have insured personal transportation and a valid drivers license.
Responsibilities
1. Plan and execute a daily schedule of sales calls on a pre-determined route.
2. Lead merchandising efforts in customer for all products, general distribution and promotions/programs.
3. Develop effective business relationships with assigned customers.
4. Provide management with specific and current information on competitive activity, market challenges and merchandising.
5. Execute sales driver objectives.
6. Work with suppliers representatives and managers in the field to promote products.
7. Service and improve the marketability of our products through shelf management, display position and frequency, concept selling and price point management.
8. Pack out shelves, build and refresh displays, place POS and stock cold box.
9. Obtain feedback from accounts on effectiveness of consumer programming and report trends to management.
10. Design and build creative displays to showcase brands.
11. Negotiate display space at the secondary tier retail locations.
12. Continual development of industry, channel, and brand knowledge.
13. Maintain shelf schematic compliance and monitor stock levels of products in store.
14. Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree required.
2. 1-2 years' selling experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods environment.
3. Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities.
4. Excellent communication skills: verbal, listening and written.
5. Demonstrate sound judgment and problem solving skill.
6. Excellent Negotiation and Influencing Skills.
7. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
8. Proficient MS Office skills.
9. Knowledge of Liquor Board Regulations, market trends and competition.
